Google Nexus One Now Available to Canadians

March 16, 2010 12:51 PM | News

Google’s premiere smartphone — the Nexus One — is available for shipping today in Canada, the company has announced.

The Nexus One comes unlocked and is compatible with a SIM card on Rogers Wireless and Fido, and most other 3G networks across the globe.

Beginning today, Google has put out an additional model for AT&T’s 3G network available for purchase in their web store. This is the unlocked version Canadians will be looking to purchase.

With the expected launch of a new iPhone from Apple coming this summer, it appears Google is taking a large part of the Canadian mobile market sooner than later.
