Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg will be on the receiving end of a two-day initiative put on by The Home Depot Canada Foundation’s ‘Buy a Hammer, Build a Community’ campaign.
From June 3 to July 4, customers at all Manitoba and northern Ontario stores will be encouraged to buy a paper hammer for $2.00. All money raised will go to support Habitat for Humanity’s efforts to build homes for families in need.
The Home Depot Canada Foundation has also committed to match the funds from the top performing Home Depot district in the national campaign.
