The Arlington Bridge will be completely closed this weekend due to the demolition of a nearby building.
Northbound and southbound traffic will be affected by the closure, as well as the two north lanes on Logan Avenue between Arlington Street and Trinity Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained on Logan using the remaining two lanes.
The closure will be in effect as of Saturday at 6 a.m. until Monday, January 10 at 6 a.m.
Crews will demolish a building at 925 Logan Avenue and the city has closed the bridge to ensure the safety of those in the area.
Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternate routes.
