Children in Winnipeg’s Brooklands community now can enjoy four new water spray features at the Eldon Ross wading pool.

The upgrades were unveiled Thursday at Pacific Dee Park, located at 1887 Pacific Ave. W., and also include new fencing, seating areas, paving and landscaping.

“This new water spray facility is a welcome addition in the heart of the Brooklands community and will provide residents with hours of enjoyment while cooling off from summer’s heat,” Mayor Sam Katz said.

The city and province equally cost-shared the funding for the $200,000 project.
