New interpretive signage will be unveiled at the Teulon Campground today after 10 years of planning.

The Teulon-Rockwood Green Acres Park Committee is unveiling the signs at 6 p.m. Titled a “Walk in the Park,” the interpretive signs grace the Crescent Creek Walking Trail and were designed by local artist and interpretive planner Heather Hinam.

“I thought if we had signs like other parks, it would be a wonderful asset but didn’t know how we could obtain signage,” said Colleen Engel, community resource officer and member of the Park Committee.

The public event will kick off at the campground on the south end of Teulon for the official unveiling of the new signs.
