
Living Prairie Museum
The Living Prairie Museum will host its fourth annual Snow Trek on Sunday, February 10.
A fun way to enjoy the outdoors in the wintertime, the day will include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, urban poling, geocaching and sn-Art (snow art). Free cross-country ski instruction and snowshoe hikes will also be available along with a limited supply of cross-country skis and snowshoes for participants to use free of charge.
Families can keep warm with a cup of homemade apple cider and free hot chocolate while sitting around a campfire.
The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. at 2795 Ness Avenue. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. Volunteers are needed and can contact the museum at (204) 832-0167.
