A crash in East St. Paul early Saturday sent four people to hospital after a vehicle drove into a ditch.
The single-vehicle accident happened at around 4 a.m. off the Perimeter Highway near Pipeline Road. RCMP say the 18-year-old woman driving the vehicle was travelling westbound on Balgona Road and came to a dead end intersection of Pipeline Road. The vehicle went off the road into a deep ditch, eventually stopping in a farmer’s field.
The driver and her four female passengers were transported to hospital in Winnipeg with undetermined injuries.
Alcohol hasn’t been ruled out as a contributing factor and police continue to investigate.
