The Winnipeg Jets have inked forward Chris Thorburn to a three-year, $3.6 million contract.
Thorburn’s re-signing comes after he played in 55 games for the Jets last season, scoring two goals and earning 11 points and 93 penalty minutes.
The Jets on Monday also announced they extended qualifying offers to John Albert, Ben Chiarot, Patrice Cormier, Michael Hutchinson, Carl Klingberg and Eric O’Dell to retain their negotiation rights.
NHL free agency begins Tuesday.
