MTS wireless customers in Carman now have access to the new 4G LTE wireless network.
The Manitoba telco says the addition is the latest in a series of expansions this year to bring the technology to 12 more rural communities in the province. Customers can access download speeds of up to 150 Mbps
“I’m pleased that another Manitoba community will now enjoy the benefits that MTS’s fastest wireless network has to offer,” said MTS President Kelvin Shepherd. “LTE offers data speeds that are significantly faster than the current HSPA+ technology, ensuring customers enjoy their new LTE smartphones to the fullest.”
