The musical talents of students from Elwick Community School and King Edward School will be on stage tonight for the Sistema Winnipeg Holiday Concert.
About 100 Grade 1 and 5 students will be performing in smaller ensemble groups and as a whole at the Franco-Manitoban Cultural Centre.

The students will perform holiday classics such as Jingle Bells and Chinese Dance from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. Other pieces include Copland’s Simple Gifts, Handel’s Water Music, and a Hawaiian version of Over the Rainbow.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for rush seating with a reception following the performance. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.
