Golf BallGolfers in Brandon can hit the links beginning next Friday.

The Wheat City Golf Course will open for the season on April 24. Due to last year’s flood damage, restoration and rebuilding is still underway, so only partial holes will be playable.

A seven-hole-course (hole 10 and holes 13 through 18) will be available for play at special spring pricing, with all-you-can-golf rates of $15 (without cart) or $30 (with cart) running until May 30.

City officials say a nine-hole course hopes to be open no later than June 1 with full 18-hole play available no than later than August 1.

Tee times can be booked by calling (204) 729-2177. Course hours and rates can be found at wheatcitygolfcourse.ca.
