Free Zumba classes at a Winnipeg shopping centre will keep children active during summer holidays.
The classes at Kildonan Place begin July 9, designed for adults and kids to participate together.
“Last year, we launched Zumba Gold classes for older adults and they’ve been a runaway success,” said Kildonan Place marketing manager Corey Quintaine. “We wanted to expand our active living programs to include families, so this is a great fit for us.”
The classes are geared toward children aged seven and under, but are open to children of all ages.
Classes will run every Thursday from 9:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the mall’s centre court. Participants can enter weekly draws to win prizes from The Children’s Place and Magicuts. At the end of the summer, two grand prize winners will take home a $100 gift card from The Children’s Place.
