A 15-year-old boy is in police custody after allegedly stabbing a man in the 300 block of Portage Avenue on Tuesday evening.
Winnipeg police say the 20-year-old victim was located with stab wounds to the upper body just before 8:30 p.m. He was taken to hospital in stable condition.
The suspect was later found in the area of Fort Street and Graham Avenue and arrested.
Police say the same suspect was responsible for another assault in the same area on January 11, where a male victim was physically assaulted. He did not suffer serious injuries as a result.
The teen has been charged with numerous offences.
