Winnipeg police are looking for a suspect after a 31-year-old woman was groped in St. Boniface on Wednesday.
The sexual assault happened at around 10 a.m. in the area of Rue Archibald and Guilbault Street.
The victim was confronted by an unknown man who grabbed her around the mouth and then upper body. She screamed and a brief struggle ensued before passersby came to the woman’s aid.
She suffered minor injuries in the assault.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 25-years-old, thin build, dark complexion and unshaven. He was wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans and a brown toque.
