WINNIPEG — New Flyer Industries has landed a contract to produce 28 Xcelsior buses for London Transit Commission.
The deal is for 27 40-foot and one (2 EUs) 60-foot Xcelsior clean diesel buses as part of one-year extension on the contract signed November 13, 2014.
New Flyer has built more than 250 transit buses for London Transit over the last 20 years. To date, 202 New Flyer buses are still servicing London’s ridership.
The 28 buses will be used to replace an older fleet of New Flyer buses that have reached the end of their useful lifespan.
