West End BizWINNIPEG — A new crime prevention and safety awareness guide was launched Thursday as a hands-on educational resource on curbing crime in the city’s West End.

The latest edition builds on the first printed copy in 2008, outlining ways for businesses and individuals to prevent becoming a victim of crime.

“The West End’s flourishing business community can utilize the Partners in Prevention Safety Guide for effective crime prevention strategies, community-based programming and personal safety tips,” said Cindy Gilroy, City Councillor for Daniel McIntyre and chairperson, Winnipeg Committee for Safety.
