Winnipeg Snowmobiler Killed After Colliding with a Tree

RCMP Logo VehicleA 33-year-old man from Winnipeg was killed Saturday after the snowmobile he was riding lost control and struck a tree.

The crash happened at around 11 a.m. on Snoman Trail #220, approximately 45 kilometres north of Broadlands Road in the RM of Alexander.

RCMP say the man veered off the trail just before the collision occurred. He was wearing a helmet at the time, but pronounced deceased on scene.

Powerview RCMP continue to investigate.
