Water main renewal work will close a portion of Portage Avenue East for more than a month.
From May 27 to July 8, eastbound traffic will be blocked from Main Street to Westbrook Street.
Eastbound traffic will be redirected to either Lombard Avenue or Pioneer Avenue. Street parking will be removed. Bike lanes and sidewalks will not be impacted.
Motorists should allow additional time to get to their destinations, and use alternate routes.
