A 21-year-old man has been charged after RCMP say he fled from a traffic stop early Friday morning.
Police tried to pull the driver over for not having front or back licence plates at around 2:45 a.m., but he didn’t stop.
RCMP say the man drove into a snowbank a short distance away on Colcleugh Avenue and Eveline Street in Selkirk.
The driver was taken into custody and also found to have three outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Tyler Friesen of Selkirk faces multiple charges and will appear in court on Saturday.
RCMP continue to investigate.
