Two Men Charged After Six People Shot in Cross Lake

Manitoba RCMP have charged two men in a shooting that injured six people in Cross Lake last Saturday.

Just after 3 a.m., several people were having a gathering inside an old bus when another group of people came along but were denied entry. Shortly after, several shots were fired into the bus.

The incident happened in the north end of Pimicikamak, known as Saggitawak.

RCMP say six males, aged 44, 39, 29, 13, 12 and 12 were injured in the shooting. The 13-year-old was transported to hospital in Winnipeg.

Marcus North, 24, and Morrison North, 23, were located by police and arrested. They have been charged with several offences and remain in custody.
