The 51st Winnipeg Folk Festival wrapped up as the first in its history to sell out before gates opened, with attendance reaching close to 80,000.
The festival, which wrapped up last Sunday at Birds Hill Provincial Park, will go down as one of the best-attended editions in its history.
Father John Misty opened the festival Thursday night, while Of Monsters and Men closed it Sunday. Other main stage highlights included Lucy Dacus, Jesse Welles, Mon Rovia and Sylvan Esso, while Wolf Parade and GOAT headlined Big Blue @ Night.
More than 2,600 volunteers were involved across the four-day event this year.
The 52nd Winnipeg Folk Festival is set for July 8-11, 2027.
