Manitobans can now book same-day appointments at QuickCare clinics in Selkirk and Steinbach through the province’s Medinav portal.

Health Minister Uzoma Asagwara says the expansion makes it easier for patients to access care without relying on emergency rooms.

“That means getting care sooner and keeping emergency and urgent care for those who need it most,” Asagwara said in a release.

Medinav allows users to view and book same-day or next-day appointments at participating clinics, including walk-in connected care clinics, extended hours primary care clinics, minor injury and illness centres in Winnipeg and Brandon, and the Pan Am minor injury clinic.

Appointments and clinic hours can be accessed at medinav.ca.
