Doc Walker Nominated for Four CCMAs

Manitoba country rockers Doc Walker have been nominated for four awards at the 2012 Canadian Country Music Awards in September.

Handed out in Saskatoon, the awards recognize Canadian country musicians and industry.

Besides the Portage la Prairie-raised trio, Dauphin’s Countryfest is nominated for country festival, fair or exhibition of the year. Casinos of Winnipeg’s Kelly Berehulka and Dauphin’s Countryfest’s Rob Waloschuk are nominated for talent buyer of the year, while Winnipeg-based Paquin Entertainment is up for booking agency of the year.

The hardware will be presented September 30.
