A 26-year-old Selkirk area man is dead following a collision between a motorcycle and van west of Brandon.
The crash happened Friday afternoon on the Trans-Canada Highway at the intersection of Highway 370 at around 3 p.m.
RCMP say two people were travelling westbound on the motorcycle when it collided with a southbound van. The man and woman on the motorcycle were taken to hospital with serious injuries, where the man was later pronounced deceased. The 25-year-old woman from Winnipeg later died in hospital. The man driving the van suffered undetermined injuries and remains in hospital.
RCMP are continuing to investigate.
