Two Men Charged After Crash Near Landmark

RCMP Crest LogoTwo men have been charged with impaired driving after a head-on crash in southern Manitoba Friday night.

RCMP were conducting a traffic stop at around 10 p.m. when they witnessed the crash between the two pickup trucks on Provincial Road 206 near Landmark.

The crash sent two of the four people in the southbound truck to hospital, while the other two were treated and released. The lone occupant in the northbound pickup truck was treated and released at the scene.

A 15-year-old girl in the southbound pickup truck was later transferred to a Winnipeg hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Both drivers, a 40-year-old man from Landmark and 24-year-old man from Winnipeg, are facing impaired driving charges.

Police continue to investigate.
