Students at five Manitoba schools will connect today for Canadian Red Cross’s Pink Day.
Pink Day co-founder Travis Price will present to students at Gordon Bell High School in Winnipeg, while others from schools in MacGregor, St. Norbert, Black River and Wanipigow join in via a live stream.
Also speaking to the students will be Winnipeg Blue Bomber Matt Bucknor, who has received bullying prevention training from the Red Cross and has been delivering that training to students in parts of Manitoba.
This is the second Pink Day hosted by the Red Cross — the first was on February 24. The organization is using both nationally- and internationally-recognized dates to raise awareness of bullying prevention.
The public can watch the entire event online starting at 10 a.m.
