Winnipeg Man Struck and Killed on Trans-Canada Highway

RCMP Logo VehicleA collision Sunday afternoon on the Trans-Canada Highway claimed the life of a 31-year-old Winnipeg man.

RCMP say the man was walking in the eastbound lane of the highway just east of Highway 13 at around 4 p.m. when he was hit by a semi-trailer truck.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 68-year-old Minnedosa man driving the semi wasn’t injured.

RCMP are continuing to investigate.
