The accident happened at around 1 p.m. involving a bus from Frontier School Division about two kilometres south of Pine Dock, Manitoba.

RCMP say the bus was travelling north on PR 234 when it lost control.

The students on board ranged in age from 12 to 15, as well as three adults. One youth and one adult were flown by air ambulance to hospital, while the remaining passengers were transported to hospital by ground ambulance and private vehicles as a precautionary measure.

The bus was on its way north from Winnipeg to Berens River at the time.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

The investigation is continuing.
