A search has been launched for an overdue snowmobiler who may have fallen through the ice in Nelson House, Manitoba.
RCMP say the 51-year-old man was reported as being overdue on Thursday night.
An immediate search found a snowmobile track which led to an area of open water on a lake. Ice conditions and open water prevented a further search, but the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team is expected to be in the community on Monday to assist.
A search of the surrounding land area is continuing by the Nelson House RCMP with the assistance of the community.
