WINNIPEG — Surface cracks in the bridge deck concrete has forced the province to close one lane on the Red River Bridge along the South Perimeter Highway.
Manitoba Infrastructure says the westbound curb lane next to the sidewalk is closed for inspection.
A detailed inspection and assessment of the lane is being conducted to determine the necessary repairs and a timeframe for reopening. It’s unclear when the lane could reopen to traffic.
