A 46-year-old man is dead following an ATV crash in the RM of Tache Sunday evening.
Steinbach RCMP responded to Road 46 East at approximately 7:13 p.m., after receiving a report of a single-vehicle ATV collision. Officers arrived to find the man pinned underneath an overturned ATV.
Investigators determined the man lost control of the vehicle while attempting to negotiate a turn, causing the ATV to flip and land on top of him.
The man, a resident of the RM of Tache, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to police.
Alcohol isn’t believed to be a factor.
Steinbach RCMP continue to investigate.
