WINNIPEG — Retail brands Marshalls and HomeSense will soon set up shop at Kildonan Place Shopping Centre.
The two stores, set to open April 18, are part of the TJX Canada STYLE+ family, which also includes Winners.
The retailers will fill some of the massive space left behind by the former Target, and will occupy approximately 45,000 square feet as part of a new superstore.
Construction is already underway on the spaces and will anchor the east end redevelopment of the mall. Kildonan Place says leasing for the new space is more than 90 percent at capacity.
“We are working with all of our new tenants to plan announcements and opening dates, and will share that information as we are able,” said Sandra Hagenaars, Kildonan Place general manager.
A job fair for the two stores will be held at the mall January 19-21.
MasterMind Toys, West 49 and Cutting Edge Cutlery Co. will also open at the mall in the coming months.
