A new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera swoops into Winnipeg’s Centennial Concert Hall this summer.

With newly reinvented staging and stunning scenic design, this new version of Phantom is performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making it one of the largest productions on tour in North America.

Another Winnipeg Jets player has been added to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Nutcracker walk-on roster.

Jacob Trouba will join Mark Scheifele on Friday, December 30 for his on-stage debut. The two will swap ice skates for rollerblades during the shinny hockey game scene at the Centennial Concert Hall.

Falstaff is the musical retelling of Shakespeare’s “Merry Wives of Windsor” and features disguises, cross-dressing, a late-night forest prank, plots, and counterplots. It’s the crowning achievement and final opera of the great Italian composer, Giuseppe Verdi.
